Successful Start To GT Career For Michael
Michael Broadhurst made his first appearance in the new Ginetta G50 GT4 car at a cold and damp Silverstone circuit with RPM Motorsport yesterday (22nd February). Sharing the car with his fellow team-mates, Michael was the first to venture onto the circuit and began learning the car. ?Obviously the Ginetta is very different to anything I have driven in my career but the car was user-friendly and I was able to build up pace quite quickly and confidently.
For his second and final run of the day, Michael was able to run on slick tyres and develop an understanding of the car in dry conditions. ?The circuit was quite dirty and cold for my dry run but I was able to run a fast and consistent pace and learnt a great deal about the car?s characteristics.
The G50 exceeded all of my expectations which is a true credit to both LNT and RPM for the professional development and preparation of the car. I cannot wait to be back behind the wheel ready for the season opener at
