Michael tests for LNT

Building on the winning debut made in the opening rounds of the Ginetta Winter Series at Silverstone earlier this month, Michael was back in action testing at a cold Pembrey Circuit (Wales) carrying out evaluation work for LNT Ginetta on the 2008 G20 race car and possible tyre choices. ?Today was an ideal opportunity to spend some time with the team and get a feel for the latest car. The new engine?s a lot more 'user-friendly? than the old car with a lot more drivable low-end torque?.

In preparation for the 2008 Ginetta G20 Championship, LNT have been assessing a switch to either Michelin or Avon tyres in favour of the current Dunlop rubber. With changeable conditions, Michael was able to gather information for both Manufacturers in wet and dry conditions which he relayed back to the team in his professional and technical manner. ?It was a great experience for me to run a car on various brands because each one had their own characteristics and demanded a slightly different driving style to maximise their potential.
